Ryszard Kapuściński was
born in 1932 and died in 2007, he was a journalist, writer and historian from
Bielorrusia. He was witnessed of many conflicts in the world, being in 27
revolutions, 12 battle fronts and also he was sentenced to be shot four times. “The Emperor: Downfall of an autocrat”, “Imperium”
and “The Shadow of the sun” are just a few books that he wrote in his life.
I like him because he was a
war correspondent and I have always been attracted to that theme; he was in the
center of the main conflicts in the world, being capable to give the
information to the world. I mean, he was a contribution to society, risking his
own life for his work.
For example, what is
happening now in Middle East is very important, and as a future journalist I
want to be there, no matter how dangerous it could be. That’s why Kapuściński is
my reference, because of his work and bravery. I hope to be a good journalist
in the future, to be a contribution to society.

If you have that thinking, of course you'll be and amazing journalist. Good luck, cata! :D
